I don’t really like how LL Cool J has tried to distance himself from this Fox News special hosted by Sarah Palin tomorrow night. Apparently Fox took an interview he gave them back in 2008 and promoted it as if she was the one who interviewed him. I can see why he’d have a problem with that, but would he be so vehement about denying it, devoting his Twitter feed to it over the last 24 hours, if it involved anybody but Palin?
That said, Fox’s response could’ve been classier (Hat tip: Hot Air):
A Fox News spokesperson tells TVNewser, “Real American Stories features uplifting tales about overcoming adversity and we believe Mr. Smith’s interview fit that criteria. However, as it appears that Mr. Smith does not want to be associated with a program that could serve as an inspiration to others, we are cutting his interview from the special and wish him the best with his fledgling acting career.”
“Fledgling”?? Um, hello? Deep Blue Sea?
