Angels fans rallied Tuesday night to set perhaps the coziest Guinness World Record in the book.
In the fifth inning, the crowd of 43,510 fans was instructed to don Hideki Matsui blankies with sleeves — a free promotional item handed out as they entered the stadium.
And in the process, they set a world record for “the largest gathering of people wearing fleece blankets.”
Yes, there is a record for such a thing. An official Guinness adjudicator was even on hand to verify mark.
