Nancy Pelosi is a nice lady who thinks you’re even dumber than she is

Are you angry and depressed about ObamaCare? Oh, you silly goose! Just listen to Mother Nancy:

SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) — House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was in San Francisco on Tuesday, celebrating the passage of healthcare reform.

She received a standing ovation from the crowd at the Mark Hopkins Hotel, describing the passage of healthcare reform as the crowning achievement of her Congressional career…

“It’s like the back of the refrigerator. You see all these wires and the rest,” said Pelosi. “All you need to know is, you open the door. The light goes on. You open this door, you go through a whole different path, in terms of access to quality, affordable healthcare for all Americans.”

It’s as easy as that! You open the ObamaCare door, and the light of utopia makes everything okay, with no problems ever ever ever. You don’t have to worry about who’s going to pay for it, or how. You can remain untroubled by bothersome questions about access to services. Just shut the f*** up, dummy.

That’s the sort of thing we should remember when we hear stories like this one, courtesy of the Daily Caller’s own Gautham Nagesh:

Senator Tom Coburn confused at least some of his supporters over the weekend when he seemed to take a shot at Fox News’ coverage of the health-care debate, while at the same time defending Nancy Pelosi. “I’m 180 degrees in opposition to the Speaker,” Coburn told the audience at a hall meeting in Oklahoma. And yet, he said, “she’s a nice lady.” When that comment drew jeers, Coburn dug in: “Come on now, she is nice. How many of you all have met her?”

Just because somebody’s picking your pocket, and your children’s pockets, and their children’s pockets, and so on, that doesn’t make her a bad person. So what if she constantly tells outrageous lies and demonizes anyone who dares to point it out? That’s no reason to believe she’s anything less than completely delightful.

Why, just look!

Are you still mad? Of course you aren’t.
