McDonald’s Corp. Chief Executive and Vice Chairman Jim Skinner received total compensation of $17.6 million in 2009, up nearly 30 percent from a year earlier, according to a proxy filing released Friday.
Skinner and McDonald’s other top executives all took home substantially more pay in 2009 than in 2008 as the company paid out a bonus tied to the fast-food chain’s performance over the last three years.
