Second Life users want to have legal ‘ownership’ of their land

Zed Drebin lives like a king.

He owns islands, spaceships, amusement parks, and a Barbie Castle. Roughly 80 people pay to rent condos at one of his locations.

Despite the decadence, Drebin only pays $390 a month to run his virtual empire.

Unfortunately for Drebin – or, as he’s normally called, Arthur – none of it is real. But he’d like the courts to change that.
