The Philadelphia Flyers were down 3-0 at one point in the first period but battled back with one goal in the first period and two more in the second to tie the Boston Bruins 3-3.

They then took a 4-3 lead with a goal in the third period and hung on to win the game by the same score.

The Flyers had been losing the series 3-0, facing nearly impossible odds in the Eastern Conference semi-finals.  Only three teams in sports history had recovered from a 3-0 deficit in a seven game series, but somehow the Flyers rallied from not only a 3-0 game deficit, but also a 3-0 deficit in the first period to win hockey glory.
