A 74-year-old Kenosha man is in police custody for hitting a 48-year-old woman, who is legally blind, over the head with a hatchet.
Milutin Vukmir Sr. was arrested for aggravated battery to a disabled person and first degree recklessly endangering safety in the 1800 block of 22nd Avenue.
According to a report by the Kenosha Police Department, the woman told police she was outside talking to other residents of Saxony Manor, 1878 22nd Ave., at about 3:30 p.m. Saturday when Vukmir allegedly asked her “Do you want to die?”
