Attackers using stun gun to rob women

SEATTLE – Police say a group of attackers are robbing women in front of their homes using a stun gun.

Three attacks have happened in the last week in Seattle’s Fremont, Crown Hill, and Greenwood neighborhoods. In these attacks, the women are alone, and they’re usually loading or unloading their car. The suspects often use a stun gun to shock them into submission.

The first attack happened in a garage of a Fremont apartment building a week ago. Paige Heggie could hear the commotion from her second story balcony window.

“Someone screaming in the neighborhood, then the screeching exit of a car actually,” Heggie said.
