Ladies and gentlemen, we have a situation.  Yes, that has probably become the most over used joke ever since the premiere of The Jersey Shore. But seriously. This time, we really have a situation.

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino is releasing a rap song. And it’s nowhere near as pretty as his abs.

The Los Angeles Times’ Ministry of Gossip blog analyzed this latest addition to the music world, which will undoubtedly rank right up there with such classic tracks from other reality TV stars as Paris Hilton’s single ‘Stars Are Blind’ and Danity Kane’s ‘Show Stopper’.  Hopefully, we’ll all be able to forget about it just as quickly.  Here’s what the Ministry of Gossip discovered upon listening to the track:

1. Confirmed: There’s some grunting and some rapping. We can totally confirm that.

2. Affirmative: There’s a recurring riff that sounds a lot like a cop siren, which makes sense, if you’ve seen “Jersey Shore’s” first season.

3. Correct: DJ Pauly Disco apparently had nothing to do with the track; DJ Pauly D may be smarter than he’s letting on.

4. Apparently: The Situation is on the track somewhere. We’re just not sure which grunts are his. Help us out after checking out the sample — that is, if you are strong enough. Might want to fortify yourself with some Ron Ron Juice first.

Think we’re all being too harsh? Listen to the clip yourself at TMZ.

Told you so.
