The Daily Telegraph reports:

Rahm Emanuel, the White House chief of staff, is expected to leave his job later this year after growing tired of the “idealism” of Barack Obama’s inner circle.

Washington insiders say he will quit within six to eight months in frustration at their unwillingness to “bang heads together” to get policy pushed through.

I’m not sure what sort of “idealism” involves lying about everything and breaking all your promises, and according to the polls, neither is anyone else. Well, wherever he ends up working next, let’s hope it’s close to a fish market.

P.S. Why’s everybody always pickin’ on him?

P.P.S. Richard Fernandez cracks the code.
