Tucker Carlson, editor of The Daily Caller, took to the airwaves Monday night to discuss the White House’s claims that President Obama’s trips to the golf course — 39 since his inauguration and seven since the beginning of the Gulf oil spill — “do us all good as American citizens.”

The comment from Bill Burton, deputy press secretary, came just two days after chief of staff Rahm Emanuel criticized BP CEO Tony Hayward for taking a trip on his yacht over the weekend.

Tucker also discussed the recent allegations by Sen. Jon Kyl (R-Ariz.) that Obama is using border security as a bartering tool in exchange for comprehensive immigration reform. The White House has denied the claim.
