Piers Morgan has been touted as a shoo-in to replace television veteran Larry King on his chat show, but it looks like he may have some stiff competition.
American anchorwoman Katie Couric is said to be in the running to replace the septuagenarian who has appeared nightly on Larry King Live for over 25 years.
The hugely popular CBS Evening News host is reportedly considering taking over from the 76-year-old on CNN when both their contracts expire next year.
