Lindsay Lohan’s team has developed a simple strategy they hope will persuade Judge Marsha Revel to keep the actress out of jail – send her to rehab.
Multiple sources close to the situation exclusively tell RadarOnline.com that Team Lohan is hatching a plan to have the 24-year-old star enter a treatment facility to deal with her drug abuse problem.
The actress’ devastated parents, Michael and Dina Lohan, are united in their support of the bid, we’re told.
One source told RadarOnline.com Lohan’s attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, floated the idea with Judge Marsha Revel, in a closed-door meeting in her chambers, after the no-nonsense judge sentenced the Mean Girls star to 90 days jail, followed by a stint in rehab.
“Lindsay’s lawyer broached the possibility of having her enter rehab immediately instead of going to jail,” said an insider.
