Some brides-to-be are so obsessed with appearances that they pick plump bridesmaids in order to feel thinner, according to a recent survey.
That’s the skinny from Slim-Fast, The Telegraph reported Tuesday. One in three engaged British women admitted they would use a fat friend as a confidence booster, even though half of all brides told Slim-Fast that they diet before the wedding.
Slim-Fast nutritionist Fiona Hunter told The Telegraph: “It’s very sad and a real shame. Looking at these statistics, it seems to be a worrying new trend.”
