The Ingle children’s lemonade stand started as a sweet childhood ritual on a hot Saturday afternoon.

Their venture ended on a sour note when a convicted felon from Brown County pulled up outside their Montgomery home, paid for lemonade and masturbated in his car while he drank from the paper cup.

Larry Cottrell, 35, of Fayetteville was arrested later that afternoon and charged with public indecency. He pled guilty to the charge Monday before Judge Fanon A. Rucker at the Hamilton County Justice Center.

Cottrell is scheduled to be sentenced by Rucker July 27. He faces a jail sentence of 180 days on the misdemeanor charge.
