Arrests made in burned puppy case

A 17-year-old and three juveniles have been charged in connection with an animal abuse case that left a puppy suffering from severe burns.

Police said Friday that Harvey Gales Jr., 17, has been charged with felony cruelty to animals, felony burning of personal property and felony conspiracy. Two 15-year-olds were being held in the Guilford County Juvenile Detention Center after being charged in the case. A 10-year-old was charged and released to a parent, police said.
