Republican Nevada Senate candidate Sharron Angle, whose media strategy has been questioned recently as her poll numbers have slipped, is adding an experienced communications operative to her campaign.
Jarrod Agen will become the Angle’s communications director, according to a campaign release. He previously served in media relations roles on Steve Poizner’s gubernatorial campaign in California and at the Department of Homeland Security, specializing in immigration and border security issues. He was also the regional communications director for Rudy Giuliani’s Presidential Campaign.
Press secretary Jerry Stacy will remain in his position.
