MONROE — A woman who allegedly dragged a man’s body under her vehicle told a gas station clerk the man jumped in front of her SUV as she was fleeing his home.

Bond was set at $50,000 for Kristina Hensley, 35, of Higginsport, Ohio, during a video arraignment Monday, Aug. 9, from the Butler County Jail.

Hensley is charged with fleeing the scene of an accident.

Police said Hensley was the driver of a maroon Ford Explorer that struck Monroe resident Jae Cho, 31, just before 5 a.m. Saturday in front of his home at 367 Timrick Place, and then dragged him to a gas station about one mile away.

Cho suffered “severe trauma” and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
