Lindsay Lohan released from rehab after 22 days, discharged and sent home in chauffered limo

LOS ANGELES – Lindsay Lohan got an early ticket out of rehab Tuesday night – three weeks into a court-ordered program expected to last three months.

The “Mean Girls” star was secretly sprung from UCLA’s Neuropsychiatric Hospital and whisked out a back exit to a chauffeured limo, RadarOnline.com was first to report.

The clandestine operation worthy of a Hollywood script came just hours before a Beverly Hills judge was expected to modify her sentence at an early-morning court hearing packed with media.

A source said UCLA doctors recommended the early release since the hospital’s intensive in-patient program doesn’t typically last 90 days and Lohan could continue with out-patient care.
