Police arrested a man and woman early Monday morning after the two assaulted each other while watching “The Notebook,” according to police reports.

The male told police the woman threatened him with a pair of scissors and cut him on his right bicep when he took the scissors from her.
The woman told police the male grabbed her by the throat and lifted her from the ground and pushed her.
