NTU warns energy taxes are coming

The National Taxpayers Union has launched a $4 million dollar national ad campaign “to oppose efforts from federal officials that would increase taxes on American energy companies.” They claim Democrats are planning to repeal a tax credit for energy companies that offsets taxes payed to other countries, resulting in a “double tax” that would ultimately be passed on to consumers.
