Mayor Bloomberg has lost his title as the wealthiest New Yorker, while Facebook upstart Mark Zuckerberg’s new wealth tripled to make him the fastest climber among the super rich, according to Forbes.
The annual list of the 400 richest Americans showed that while Bloomberg’s fortune grew to $18 billion from $17.5 billion last year, it wasn’t enough to keep up with his longtime rival, oilman and Tea Party supporter David Koch.
