What are the absolute, no-kidding, gotta-have-’em races for Democrats if they hope to hold onto the Senate?
New polls make it easier to answer that question.
They carry unhappy news for Democrats in some marquee races where they seek to hold seats: Sen. Blanche Lincoln is in deep trouble in Arkansas; the grip of Sens. Russ Feingold in Wisconsin and Michael Bennet in Colorado seems to be slipping, and Rep. Joe Sestak has continuing problems in Pennsylvania. Also newly, and surprisingly, vulnerable: Joe Manchin in West Virginia.
