Wide Receivers

1. Brandon Marshall
2. Roddy White
3. Reggie Wayne
4. Austin Collie
5. DeSean Jackson
6. Donald Driver
7. Mark Clayton
8. Randy Moss
9. Wes Welker
10. Hines Ward
11. Steve Smith (NYG)
12. Kevin Walter
13. Eddie Royal
14. Greg Jennings
15. Marques Colston
16. Louis Murphy
17. Michael Crabtree
18. Mike Sims-Walker
19. Anquan Boldin
20. Brandon Lloyd

Comments:

  • Hard to believe Austin Collie is a top 5 lock at this point. He’s turning into Manning’s Welker.
  • Someone is going to have to score in the Pitt/Balt game. Hines Ward may be that guy.
  • It’s tough to pick out Eddie Royal from Denver’s stable of suddenly good WRs. But Royal is tough and Denver will be throwing.
  • I like Clayton’s match-up this week and I like St. Louis playing homesick Seattle.
  • One of these days Louis Murphy is going to have a big day and Houston’s pass D sucks.
  • One of these days Michael Crabtree is going to erupt for some stats – and SF will be throwing.
  • Jennings and Driver will have stats this week.

Tight Ends

1. Finley
2. V Davis
3. D Clark
4. A Gates
5. Z Miller
6. C Cooley
7. T Gonzalez
8. A Hernandez
9. J Gresham
10. K Boss

Comments:

  • I like Finley to finally get in the end zone this week.
  • I also like Vernon Davis to be extra involved Sunday.
  • For some reason I think McNabb will throw to his safe option in Cooley under pressure in Phil.
  • A Hernandez will turn some heads in primetime Monday Night.  He has RB moves that seem just odd for a TE. Talented.
  • Kevin Boss may finally get on the board this weekend – Eli should be throwing to him more to spread and balance that offense.

Defense/Special Teams:

1. Packers
2. Steelers
3. Giants
4. Browns
5. Saints
6. Jets
7. Bills
8. Ravens
9. Eagles
10. Chargers

Comments:

  • Packers’ D will play angry this week.
  • Few would have faith enough in the Giants to put them this high. I don’t. I just think the Bears and Cutler are ready for a turnover fest.
  • Putting the Browns this high may seem irresponsible. But they are due for a good performance, and coming home should help.
  • The Bills this high? Don’t see the Jets scoring.

Kickers

1. Matt Bryant
2. Jeff Reed
3. Nate Kaeding
4. Mason Crosby
5. David Akers
6. Josh Brown
7. S Gostkowski
8. Phil Dawson
9. Rob Bironas
10. Lawrence Tynes

Comments:

  • There could be a few games this weekend where kickers score points when their teams don’t score a ton: Dawson, Reed and possibly Akers and Brown.
