After 69 days stuck underground, most people would be itching to get to the surface and into the arms of family and friends.
But if Yonni Barrios was not overjoyed about the prospect of being rescued it would be understandable – because the Chilean miner’s extra-marital affair was exposed as he sat helpless below the surface.
Barrios, 50, will not be greeted by his wife of 28 years Marta Salinas when he becomes the 20th man to be rescued from the San Jose copper mine in Copiapo, Chile, early tomorrow morning.
