The head of House Republicans’ campaign efforts said the GOP would pick up a number of seats totaling at least in the “mid-40s.”
Rep. Pete Sessions (R-Texas), the head of the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC), set expectations for his candidates’ performance with just under three weeks left until Election Day.
“We’re just a few weeks from what I believe will be a tsunami,” Sessions told the conservative magazine Newsmax. “For the House of Representatives, I believe we will go mid-40s and above.”
