Sharron Angle, GOP challenger of Sen. Harry Reid in Nevada aired an ad depicting immigrants as violent gang members who are “forcing families to live in fear.”

The ad released on Wednesday criticizes Reid for voting against declaring English the national language in the U.S. and for siding with President Obama in stopping Arizona’s tough new immigration law.

The families in the ad who are “living in fear” are white and the children who must live without a national language are white as well. However, the immigrants depicted are being arrested, have tattoos and are wearing bandanas, symbolizing their participation in a gang.

It ends by saying: “Harry Reid, it’s clear whose side he’s on and it’s not yours.”
