NEW YORK (AP) — A limited mix of food items and products were recalled this week. Here are the key details:

TUNA

DETAILS: Beaver Street Fisheries Inc. of Jacksonville, Fla. is recalling select 5- to 7-pound tuna loins. The tuna was distributed in Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.

WHY: The tuna could have elevated histamine levels, which can cause an allergic reaction called scombroid poisoning. Symptoms of scombroid poisoning include: tingling or burning sensation in the mouth, facial swelling, rash, hives and itchy skin, nausea, vomiting or diarrhea.

INCIDENTS: Three possible incidents have been reported.

INFANT CAR SEATS

DETAILS: Britax is recalling infant car seats due to faulty harness clips. The seats were sold nationwide as well as on the Britax website from June 2009 to last month.

WHY: The Consumer Product Safety Commission says the clip on the chest harness of the Chinese-made car seats can break loose and pose a risk of cuts or a choking hazard.

INCIDENTS: The Charlotte, N.C.-based Britax Child Safety Inc. has received three reports of cuts and scratches and one report of a child placing a broken clip in his mouth.

MALE ENHANCEMENT PILLS

DETAILS: The Duro Extend Capsules for Men were made by Intelli Health Products of Miami.

WHY: They contain an unapproved new drug analog that may interact with nitrates found in some prescription drugs, such as nitroglycerin, and may lower blood pressure to dangerous levels.

Consumers who have Duro Extend Capsules should stop using them immediately and return them to where they were purchased. Any adverse effects that may be related to the use of these products should be reported to the Food and Drug Administration’s Med Watch Program at www.fda.gov/safety/medwatch.
