Republican Senate candidate Joe Miller tells CNN that he has “cautious optimism” about absentee and write-in ballots that haven’t been counted yet in Alaska.

The Senate race in Alaska is one of several contests where a winner has not been declared. On Monday, Republican Tom Foley conceded the close Connecticut governor’s race to Democrat Dan Malloy.
