A search for three boys missing since Friday focused today on an Ohio river 20 miles away.
Dive teams from several law enforcement agencies searched the St. Joseph River south of Pioneer, Ohio, police said.
Several spots are being checked by the divers, said Morenci Police Chief Larry Weeks.
“It’s not our intention to leave any stone unturned,” Weeks said during a daily press briefing this morning.
He said investigators are making progress in solving the six-day disappearance.
“I don’t believe it’s a stalemate,” he said. “I’m not giving up.”
But Weeks conceded that the number of tips flowing into his office has dropped as the case has dragged on.
