GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Gwinnett deputies arrested two men on animal cruelty and other charges after investigators found four postcards depicting the killing and mutilation of a young deer.
Stanley Hugh Ivy, 42, sent four postcards with photos showing the 8-month-old deer being led on a leash. Deputies said on each postcard, Ivy explained how he stabbed and choked the young animal to death, and went on to describe himself as a predator.
Deputies approached Ivy while he was meeting with his probation officer on Wednesday.
