While some might consider it a slight exaggeration, we think it is safe to say that the Karsdashians have taken over the world.
Think about it — they’re everywhere. On TV. On the radio (Ryan Seacrest is their primary enabler, after all). Court-side (ever since Khloe married Lakers star Lamar Odom). On day-time talk shows. On late-night talk shows. On facebook, on Twitter on … you get the picture. If there is a media outlet, they’ve found a way to butt in — pun intended.
But while Kim, Khloe, Kourtney and even Kris are the ones usually center stage, there is a lesser known member of the Kardashian clan who warrants a certain amount of attention, too. If you watch one of myriad Kardashian enterprises, then you already know: Olympian Bruce Jenner is Kris Kardashian’s (now Kris Jenner’s) second husband.
On “Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” viewers can depend on Bruce to deliver a few good one liners and the — often much needed — dose of reality on a reality show that seems quite the opposite of its genre. When asked by a whining Kardashian sister, for example, what he was doing when he was her age, Bruce replied: “Well, unlike you, I had already won a gold medal.” Zing.
Indeed, Bruce is best known for winning the gold medal for decathlon in the Montreal 1976 Summer Olympics, which he then parlayed into a career as a successful motivational speaker and television personality and then, of course, for his botched plastic face lift and nose job.
Here is a look back at the evolution of the man behind the army of Kardashians, because haven’t we seen enough of Kim’s backside? Just kidding – that’s impossible – go here if you’d like to see more of her.
