Actress and singer Zooey Deschanel is suing shoe scion Steve Madden for $2 million.
The blue-eyed thespian and chanteuse claims that Madden promised her the money in exchange for being the face of a line of shoes, according to court documents posted by Eonline.com.
Her agents at CAA allege that Deschanel was to receive the money whether or not her line of shoes and accesories came to fruition.
According to legal documents, a retailer wasn’t so keen on the Deschanel deal and Madden tried to offer Zooey half a million dollars less
