His birthday isn’t for another eight months, but Bill Clinton is already planning his 65th birthday bash, which will be held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

In addition to inviting many celebrities, according to Life & Style Magazine, the former president is setting up a concert at the Staples Center, which can hold up to 20,000 people.

But don’t expect to only see political officials at the former president’s gathering. An insider said Clinton is trying to get Mary J. Blige, Jay-Z, Bruce Springsteen, and Paul McCartney to perform. “Every A-lister in town will be scrambling to get an invite,” says Life & Style Magazine.

Though he hasn’t occupied the Oval Office for nearly decade, Clinton still has star appeal. Earlier this year, Avril Lavigne, Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher, Shakira, and Antonio Banderas attended the Clinton Global Initiative. In 2009, Brad Pitt made an appearance at the same event.

Of course, Clinton is hardly first famous figure to throw an extravagant birthday celebration. Paris Hilton, for instance, threw five different parties for herself in one evening for her 21st birthday in 2002.
