Chuck Todd takes a shot at Sarah Palin?

Maybe NBC White House correspondent Chuck Todd is a big wrestling fan, or perhaps he’s like some people in the media that seem agitated by former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.

On MSNBC’s Tuesday broadcast of “The Daily Rundown,” Todd pointed out that on Jan. 4, 1999, Reform Party election-winner Jesse Ventura was sworn in as governor of Minnesota.

“On this date in 1999, former pro wrestler Jesse ‘The Body’ Ventura is sworn in as governor of Minnesota,” Todd said.

However, Todd also made a point to mention that Ventura served his entire term.

“The Reform Party candidate would go on to serve only one term in office but he did serve his entire four years,” he added. “Not all governors do that.”

It’s not completely obvious who Todd was referring to when he said “not all governors,” but it’s possible he could have been referring to Palin – a frequent target of MSNBC’s on-air talent. You be the judge.

Watch:

What Todd didn’t deem important to note about Ventura is his dabbling in 9/11 truther-ism – the idea that the Sept. 11 terrorist attack on the World Trade Center was a result of a government conspiracy.
