Tiger Woods is off his golf game – literally.

Woods’ face has been dropped from the cover of the latest version of his best-selling video game, EA Sports’ “Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters.”

In a seemingly crafty bit of branding from the gamemaker — which saw sales of last year’s installment plummet in the wake of the golfing legend’s infidelity scandal and subsequent break from the sport — Woods’ face has been replaced with a shot of the yellow flag of Augusta National Golf Club, the course that hosts the prestigious Masters tournament, which is the focus of the new version.

The golfing great isn’t totally absent from the cover; he can be seen teeing off in the background of the image, clad in a blue golf shirt in place of his signature fiery red one.

Woods reportedly does appear on the PlayStation 3 Collector’s Edition of the game, which costs $10 more and includes five additional courses.
