Warner Bros. announced yesterday that Anne Hathaway is the new Catwoman in ‘The Dark Knight Rises.’
This year’s Oscars host and star of films such as ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ and ‘Love and Other Drugs,’ joins the ranks of the women who have given us that lovin’ feline in the iconic role.
While we don’t think Anne will compare to the likes of bombshell Halle Berry (because, really, who can?), we think she could rival the likes of Julie Newmar or Lee Meriwether — sultry, sexy, clad in leather and a pinch of sass.
