Amid the mad scramble in Congress to find a seatmate from the opposing party for this year’s State of the Union Address, South Carolina Rep. Joe Wilson, who infamously broke decorum in 2010 by yelling “You lie!” during President Obama’s address on health care, will also sit between two Democrats.

Democrats Madeleine Bordallo of Guam and Rep. Susan Davis of California will join Wilson, his office announced Monday. The trio serve together on the House Armed Services Committee (HASC).

“Honored to be sitting besides two fellow HASC members at tomorrow night’s SOTU, Susan Davis (CA-53) and Madeleine Bordallo of Guam,” Wilson’s official Twitter feed read.

Colorado Sen. Mark Udall and the political group Third Way recently called for members of Congress to sit together in the wake of the Jan. 7 shooting in Tucson, Arizona that left fellow House member Rep. Gabrielle Giffords severely injured and killed and wounded many others. The gesture is being touted as a symbolic showing of unity between the parties, who traditionally divide the room among party affiliation.
