Remember the gubernatorial candidate of NY’s “The Rent is Too Damn High” party, Jimmy McMillan? Well, he’s back and has a few choice words for President Obama, and no lack of love for Tea Party sweetheart Sarah Palin. After losing the New York gubernatorial race in 2010, McMillan announced he’s “coming after Barack Obama’s black ass” in his 2012 run for President. In an AOL interview, McMillan poetically describes his reasoning for this tongue-in-cheek statement, saying:

“Now, I like to use quotes and phrases to open up those vessels in your mind that you haven’t used in a long time. Barack Obama is the head of the Democratic Party. He’s black, […] The logo for the Democratic Party is a donkey. You call him a donkey or an ass […] I’m coming after Barack Obama’s black ass. That’s the donkey! I’m coming after the Democratic Party!”

However when it comes to Mrs. Palin, McMillan has much kinder words. After calling her critics “haters,” McMillan expressed his fondness for Palin saying:

“Sarah Palin: I love you because America gives you the constitutional right to do whatever you want to do as a woman. And people don’t think you can do [sic] because you’re a woman. They try to make a mockery out of you.”

Sadly, McMillan has not extended an invitation to Palin to be his running-mate. Instead he’s opted for the more experienced Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney. According to McMillan, Gingrich “is a good liar” while Romney’s simply “a good looking guy.” No word on whether either Republican will run on “The Rent is Too Damn High” ticket.
