DUBAI — Tiger Woods was facing a possible fine by golf’s European Tour on Monday after television cameras showed the world No. 3 spitting on one of the greens during his disastrous final round at the Dubai Desert Classic.

The 35 year old spat out after missing a par-putt and apparently made no effort to clean the green for following players. He was also filmed, elsewhere, striking out with his driver at the turf after a wayward tee shot and swearing audibly after a separate misdirected shot.
