If you plan on watching The Hangover 2 this summer, don’t expect to see former president Bill Clinton boozing among the other characters.
Entertainment Weekly reported Monday that the Arkansas Democrat will not have a cameo role in the sequel to the popular 2009 comedy, silencing last year’s rumors that he’d show up in the film.
Clinton reportedly had dinner with the movie’s stars while he was in Bangkok and visited the film’s set, but his contributions to Hangover 2 did not go beyond that.
“He stopped by the set because the Secret Service guys were like, ‘Hey, that would be fun on the way out of town to stop by a movie set,'” Phillips said. “But you can’t control what somebody writes on the Internet.”
According to the Internet Movie Database, Clinton is not included in the Hangover 2 cast list.
