Just days after being sort of rebuked by the National Organization for Women, “Real Time” host Bill Maher isn’t backing away from his jokes about conservative women.

On Friday’s airing of HBO’s “Real Time with Bill Maher,” Maher salivated over the prospect that liberal whipping girl Minnesota Republican Rep. Michele Bachmann might make a run for president in 2012. (h/t Real Clear Politics Video)

“Well you know, a birther could be running for president,” Maher said. “Michele Bachmann this week threw her hat into the ring, kind of. We think she’s going to be running for president – for those that find Sarah Palin too intellectual. Michele Bachmann for president – as a comedian, all I have to say is where can I donate to this cause?”

Bachmann, along with former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin would make “two bimbos,” Maher joked.

“I love this,” he said. “If Bachmann and Palin both get in, that’s two bimbos, and then there’s Mitt Romney, a millionaire, Newt Gingrich, a professor. We just need a Skipper and a buddy and we got Gilligan’s Island.”

And just a week removed from calling Palin a “dumb twat,” which Palin later dismissed, he took a parting shot at the former vice-presidential nominee’s trip the Israel.

“You know, I don’t want to go after Sarah Palin again, but come on – she was in Israel this week and America should butt out of Israel’s ‘zoning issues,’” Maher said. “Yes, the West Bank – that’s a zoning issue like building a head shop too close to a school. Not a bright woman – she stood at the Wailing Wall and she said, ‘I was there for 45 minutes and I did not see one whale.’”
