Tina Fey takes second place to a book written by and for Christians. Ouch.
You don’t have to hate Palin to love Fey’s book, but it helps. It’s getting rave reviews from the NYT (“dagger-sharp, extremely funny”), Time (“delightful… loaded with personality”), and of course Janeane Garofalo (“so much funnier, and so much younger, than me”). Says Fey in her introduction, “Maybe you bought this book because you love Sarah Palin and you want to find reasons to hate me.” As if anybody needs to spend money to do that. (Just ask 30 Rock‘s advertisers.)
Here’s my favorite Tina Fey clip, from Feb. 2008. Fey endorses Hillary Clinton for president by screaming, “Bitch is the new black!” Well, sure, unless the bitch is a Republican.
