In his first interview since the shutdown was averted, Speaker John Boehner sat down Monday morning with Fox News’ Bill Hemmer.
This was a pretty interesting interview with the man who has been largely praised for his work in averting a government shutdown. “I like the president,” Boehner said, but “the next one’s going to be much more difficult.”
Speaking of “the next one,” Boehner went on to say that “not raising the debt limit would have very serious implications…” But he added that we must address the underlying economic problems.
