The National Football League has issued its clubs a series of guidelines in the aftermath of the recent court rulings that ended the lengthy lockout.

Beginning Friday morning, players will be permitted to use team facilities for workouts, physical examinations, rehab and medical treatment. Coaches can also meet with players to distribute playbooks, game film and other similar materials while setting up schedules for workouts, mini-camps and organized team activities (OTAs).

However, the league said procedures for player transactions, including free agent signings and trades, will likely be distributed Friday. The NFL also said it would likely have a time frame for the start of the 2011 league year.
