Australian actress Emily Browning, 23, is garnering attention for the new “Sleeping Beauty,” poster which features her tastefully nude. Though the title is the same as the 1959 Disney animated film, this version’s plot revolves around prostitution, not a prince.
Browning got her start in acting at 8 when she was discovered in a school play. Her first professional acting gig was a role in a Hallmark TV movie. A series of supporting film roles followed until she landed the big budget adaptation of the children’s book series, “Lemony Snicket’s A Series Of Unfortunate Events” alongside Jim Carrey.
Her latest movies are a far cry from being Hallmark moments or children’s stories.
In the Zach Snyder movie “Sucker Punch,” which was released earlier this year she played a scantily clad sex slave.
