Jesse James, who made news last year for cheating on Academy Award winning actress Sandra Bullock, isn’t losing sleep over his ex-wife’s well being.

In an interview with ABC’s “Nightline,” James talked about his new memoir, girlfriend Kat Von D, and shutting down his business. When asked if he felt guilty about moving on from Bullock so quickly after his high profile affair, James said, “I can’t worry about her anymore…you know?”

James says he’s liberated himself from worrying about Bullock, who is raising her adopted infant as a single parent.

“I think I spent a good chunk of the last five or six years worrying only about her and what she thinks, and what I should do, and, like, you know, [her] controlling all of my movements and everything else…I think it’s time to worry about Jesse and making sure Jesse is happy,” James said.

On his infidelity, James said, “I knew it was horrible. It made me feel horrible. [I] think I wanted to get caught, I mean I was trying to self-sabotage my life.”

Regardless of what he did to “The Blind Side” star, James is certain he will be faithful to Kat Von D, who he plans to marry this summer.
