Entrepreneur/model Patrick Schwarzenegger, whose father Arnold has made headlines for fathering a love child and getting divorced, tweeted his response to the news on Tuesday.

“some days you feel like sh*t, some days you want to quit and just be normal for a bit, yet i love my family till death do us apart. #family,” the 17-year old wrote.

A little more than a week ago, Shriver and Schwarzenegger said they were putting their 25-year marriage to an end.

“At this time, we are living apart while we work on the future of our relationship,” the couple said in a statement. “We ask for compassion and respect from the media and the public.”

Soon after the announcement, teenage Schwarzenegger took to Twitter to express his initial thoughts on the matter.

“Appreciate all your messages. Small speed bump I’n life, luckily we own hummers, we will cruise right over it. All will be okay. #peace,” Patrick Schwarzenegger wrote last week.

The high school student could perhaps seek comfort from pop singer Miley Cyrus, whom he talked about when interviewed by Details magazine.

“My eye … is set on Miley,” the young business owner told the publication.

In the same interview, Schwarzenegger said about mother Shriver, who is a member of the Kennedy family, “My mom always talks about how hard it was to grow up in a political family. It’s always split up, and just — I want to have fun in life. No, politics isn’t on the list.”
