Pop artist Pink didn’t have rosy things to say about singer Selena Gomez on Thursday, when the 31-year-old blasted Justin Bieber’s girlfriend for painting horses for a “stupid music video.”

Upon noticing a pink horse and a purple horse on a southern California beach, Pink tweeted, “If there are any animal activists around Malibu- at Leo Cabrillo State Beach, there are horses being painted for a stupid music video. Shame.”

The “Stupid Girls” singer went on to tweet, “artists should be more aware and responsible for their actions,” before explaining that she’d realized the animals had been colored for Gomez’s video.

“oh lord, THAT’S whose video it was? Disney fans unite. here we go,” Pink tweeted about 18-year-old Gomez, who stars in the Disney television show “Wizards of Waverly Place” and has made headlines this year for dating pop sensation Bieber.

Pink finished out her complaints with the tweet, “whether u r a fan of mine or whomEVER’S, i won’t stop speaking out about animal cruelty.i’ve taken responsibility in the past,so should she.”

According to TMZ, Gomez included the pretty equines in the video for her new single, “I Love You Like A Love Song,” and her reps claimed the ponies were treated with respect at Gomez’s demand.

“A non toxic, vegetable based powder paint was applied via an airbrush and removed with water. An official from the Humane Society was on set supervising,” Gomez’s rep told the online gossip site. “It was important to the Production Company, Record Label and Ms. Gomez that no animals were harmed and all proper precautions were taken,” Gomez’s rep said in another statement.

A prominent spokesperson for PETA, Pink has long been a defender of animals. Last year, the celebrity protested against cruelty in the Australian wool industry.
