“The Real Housewives of D.C.” reality television star Michaele Salahi, whose pop single “Bump It” came out earlier this month, is set to be the main judge in the first annual Stars & Stripes & Spokes’s bikini contest. According to a press release, organizers for the event will honor and thank the country’s armed forces with a showcase of military cars and equipment.

Stars & Stripes & Spokes, which is a patriotic motorcycle rally and musical festival with free admission, will take place during Memorial Day weekend and Salahi will serve as judge for the Sunday swimsuit competition. The gathering will benefit the Walter Reed Army Medical Center.

“I am very excited to be a part of this event for many reasons; however, the main reasons are that the Walter Reed Society is the charitable benefactor and my father was a US Army war hero, specifically the legendary Ghost Army division during World War II,” Salahi said in a press release. “My father is buried in Arlington cemetery and I know he would be proud of my involvement in this event.”

Salahi, who allegedly crashed a White House state dinner in 2009 with husband Tareq, released her dance song in May and attended Charlie Sheen’s Torpedo of Truth tour when he visited D.C. last month. The Northern Virginia socialite also had a stint on “Celebrity Rehab.”

“Michaele’s dedication and connection to the military was very important to us,” said event director Bruce Bieber. “Her background in fashion and lifestyle is also a great asset.”
